Our Wilelaiki Honey is sourced directly from bees that gather pollen primarily from Christmas Berry Trees. This unique honey stands apart from other Hawaiian varieties due to its slightly spicy taste, coming from the blossoms of the Christmas Berry Trees (Brazilian Pepper Trees.) These trees bloom in the months before Christmas, and develop red berries by Christmas time in Hawaii.
